Although, Web 2.0 tools are not new to me, being engaged with my colleagues in the class to share our experiences and learn new tools, has been a positive learning experience for me, especially that we have been using a Moodle classroom platform. Web2.0 collaboration tools including Facebook, Twitter, Diigo, delicious, Wikis, Windows Live, MySpace, Blogs, Ning, LinkedIn, Dimdim , WikiEducator , etc are effective tools that people can use to enhance motivation, teamwork, and cooperative learning techniques. Web 2.0 presentation tools such as YouTube, Flickr, VoiceThread, Voki, MovieMaker, Xtranormal, MediaShare, SlideShare, and AuthorStream, SnapVine, Prezi, SpringNote, and Podcast, blipTv, etc, are used widely to share and present information and projects designed formally at schools or informally while people work in groups or individually online, or in a face-to-face setting. Blending these tools provides many opportunities for students to become active and independent learners.
My individual contribution included some activities that aimed at the following:
First: Learning how social networking can affect our educational systems, improve students' motivation, and enhance cooperative learning.
Secondly: Sharing experiences and resources about online etiquette.
Thirdly: participating in the discussions through some Web2.0 tools such as Skype , and sharing links and videos about using Web2.0 tools.
My individual contribution to teamwork included the following:

My individual contribution to teamwork included the following:
- Discussions about the advantages of using Web 2.0 collaboration tools, and I posted a video that provides some hints on best practice for these collaboration tools.
- Discussing social networking, its advantages and disadvantages and how to stay safe on line.
- Discussing the Online Etiquette and I created a wiki in the team sandbox to share individual experiences.
- Providing a website about GroupSpaces tools to learn how to manage group work online.
- Sharing examples and different online collaboration tools and various platforms such as MicrosoftShare Point, and Google Docs.
- Sharing a video about GroupWare to explain how team members can define teamwork, communicate, prioritize, and evaluate their work while they are active online.
- Discussing conflicts of teamwork, their symptoms, and resolutions through watching this video.
- Sharing discussions in Team B sandbox, Forum, Wiki, and SkyPe, including a video about GoogleWave
- Sharing videos about how to create and use Wikis, Blogs, and Websites.
- Sharing Tutorial Videos about how to use Wordle , WallWisher , and Xtranormal
One of the advantages of using technology is that it provides online community-based tools for learning. If you have used any of the Web2.0 collaboration or presentation tools, please share your experiences so we can all learn new perspectives, approaches, and applications.
